Mindfulness with Michele Tae

Michele TaeToday Jamie Talan is talking with Michele Ta who is a Buddhist Chaplain and Director of Mindfulness Center Idaho. Michele Tae is a student of Venerable Thich Nhat Hanh and was ordained as a member of the Order of Interbeing in 1998. Her Dharma name is True Spiritual Peace. Michele has practiced with Beginners Mind Sangha in Boise since its founding in 1994.

Michele’s background includes over thirty years of work as an information systems professional, owning her own consulting firm, Commonthread Incorporated. She worked throughout the United States and Europe. Michele retired from consulting in 2010 to give more time to teaching meditation and movement.

Michele began the study of movement and dance as a child, and taught yoga and meditation in Boise for many years. As the Director of the Mindfulness Center Idaho, Michele shares the fruits of over 25 years of mindfulness practice with enthusiasm and joy. Michele was ordained as a Buddhist Chaplain in 2010.
